Announcing the Return of The REP Theatre for Spring 2021
| Nearly a year since temporarily shutting its doors due to COVID-19, The REP Theatre is set to make its highly-anticipated return just in time for spring. On March 29th, the new season kicks off with an exciting lineup of events full of mesmerizing storytelling and entertainment the entire family will love. The mystical world of Camelot comes to life on Monday evenings as The REP Theatre continues its unforgettable children’s theatre performances with “The Tales of King Arthur” at the Seaside Amphitheater. Local and visiting students will also get their opportunity to perform as they take center stage through virtual class sessions of Improv Bootcamp for Kids taught by The REP’s professional company of actors. Interactive theatrical experiences continue with Stories by the Sea as The REP Theatre performs popular storybook adventures in the heart of Seaside, Florida. The REP is full of excitement as the theatre reopens and continues its long history of producing engaging and innovative programming for the community. The upcoming season is just a glimpse of what is yet to come as The REP returns to its legacy of sharing the arts and creating memorable moments that last a lifetime. |
The REP Theatre Spring Events The Tales of King Arthur Mondays, March 29th – April 26th 5:30 pm at the Seaside Amphitheater Complimentary Event Step into the magical kingdom of Camelot as The REP actors take audiences on a wild ride in this fast-paced and funny adventure for audiences of all ages. Join King Arthur, Merlin, Guenevere, and all the rest of the Knights of the Round Table as they embark on a series of daring quests fraught with peril that are sure to be the ultimate test of their honor and bravery. This complimentary event will royally entertain the entire family. Proudly presented by the Seaside Merchants!  Improv Bootcamp for Kids! Tuesdays & Thursdays March 30th – April 22nd 2 pm – 3:15 pm Tickets: $25 per session Spring Improv Bootcamp is virtual At The REP, not only do we perform and share stories, but we also share the craft of storytelling and theatre arts with local and visiting students. This spring, our popular Improv Bootcamp for kids returns and goes virtual! Through these online sessions, students learn all the basics of improv by focusing on teamwork, creativity, and thinking outside the box. Advanced registration is required.
