Friday and Saturday we will be hanging out all day Grilling and chilling. With music in the afternoon. Over to Funky Blues Shack for music, and then an after party on the Destin Harbor.
Olliejava Restaurant Garden will be having Holiday on the Harbor this weekend. Everyone is invited to come to the Harbor for pot luck Thanksgiving Dinner at 2pm and Sundown music every night this week. Saturday there will be a cookout and open jam all day at the Restaurant Garden.
Olliejava Restaurant Garden is a unique dining concept in Destin. Located on Heron Harbor (the’E tip’ of Destin Harbor) just West of the Destin Yacht Club, The Restaurant Garden is the available for weddings, private parties and special events or just relaxing at sunset. Follow the garden pathway under the Oaks and Palms to discover indoor/outdoor patio dining room overlooking Heron Harbor.
For almost 15 years Chad Henson owned the Two Stick Sushi Bar in Oxford, MS. His original plan was to open a smaller mobile version of the popular Oxford restaurant in Destin, but decided to take a different approach. The will serve several small menus instead of one big one, adding variety and versatility. The chefs can challenge themselves by creating recipes and menus that personally inspire them.
Two Stick Sushi and Jays 901 BBQ, are already being served at the Olliejava Restaurant Garden. Jay Wern, a local musician from Memphis Tennessee is the pit-master and has brought authentic Memphis BBQ to the Destin Harbor. Also, a few menus from Henson’s previous restaurants and a concept from local chef Daniel Gibson will be unveiled in the Spring.
