Pensacon, the Gulf Coast’s premier fan event, is proud to announce that Hollywood icon Richard Dreyfuss has joined the lineup for its 2022 convention, set for Feb. 18-20 in downtown Pensacola.
Winner of the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1977’s “The Goodbye Girl,” Dreyfuss’ incredible career includes major roles in such iconic films as “American Graffiti,” “Jaws,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “Stand by Me,” “Down and Out in Beverly Hills,” “Stakeout,” “What About Bob?” and “Mr. Holland’s Opus,” the last of which earned him a second Best Actor nomination.
The announcement comes as Pensacon nears the end of its “25 Guests of Christmas” program, announcing new guests each day as the holiday approaches. We are pleased to be able to announce this major star to our line-up in time for fans to purchase weekend or VIP passes as holiday gifts, and before prices increase for weekend passes on Jan. 1, 2022.
Dreyfuss joins the incredible Pensacon 2022 lineup, which also features “Star Trek” legend George Takei; Giancarlo Esposito, star of “The Mandalorian” and “Breaking Bad”; “The Suicide Squad” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” castmembers Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn and Steve Agee; ‘80s movie icon Judge Reinhold (“Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” “Beverly Hills Cop,” “The Santa Clause”), “Harry Potter,” “Game of Thrones” and “Doctor Who” star David Bradley; Dylan McDermott, star of “American Horror Story,” “The Practice” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime”; “Supernatural” stars Kim Rhodes, Samantha Smith and Briana Buckmaster; “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” stars Amy Jo Johnson, Johnny Yong Bosch and David Yost; *NSYNC member and actor Joey Fatone; and “Sons of Anarchy” and “The Walking Dead” star Ryan Hurst, and many more.

A very limited number of VIP Experience passes, which include free parking while available, priority admission to all events and panels, front of line privileges, and exclusive VIP merchandise are available for $165. Single-day tickets will be made available beginning Jan. 1.
