COVID-19 Protocols Pensacon is committed to keeping all HalloweenFest attendees, volunteers and guests safe during the continuing pandemic. As such, all attendees will be required to wear face coverings over their noses and mouths at all times while attending HalloweenFest. Acceptable coverings include face masks, scarfs/bandanas, loose face coverings or full face shields. There will be no exception to this policy and those who refuse to wear adequate coverings will be asked to cover up or leave the plaza. A designated eating area will be set up near the food vendors where attendees may unmask while eating and drinking. Please be aware of social distancing while in the eating area and keep your party at least six feet from other unmasked parties. All of our vendors, performers, food trucks, etc. will be set up with proper social distancing between them. Vendors will remain behind their tables to maintain distance. We also ask attendees to be mindful of others and remain six feet apart from those outside their group as much as possible in the outdoor setting. We will have limited space in our panel area due to social distancing. Several hand sanitizing stations will be set up around the plaza, as well as a portable sink unit at the back of the plaza for hand washing. |
Celebrity and artist guests Pensacon is pleased to welcome two celebrity guests for HalloweenFest. Joining us will be actors Corin Nemec (“The Stand,” “Stargate SG-1,” “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose”) and Jason London (“Dazed and Confused,” “Dracula II,” “Tales From the Crypt”). Both actors will be on-hand throughout the day to greet fans and (for a fee) sign autographs. We will also welcome three great artists for HalloweenFest. Thom Zahler (My Little Pony, Love & Capes, Warning Label) will make his first appearance at a Pensacon event and has designed two limited-edition prints as well as the event T-shirt, all of which will be exclusively available at HalloweenFest. (A portion of all sales at the HalloweenFest merchandise booth will benefit the Saint Christopher’s Episcopal Church Weekend For for Kids program). Also appearing are fan favorites Mitch Byrd (Green Lantern, Unearthed, Guy Gardner) and Roland Paris (Spider-Man, Black Panther, Dark X-Men, Ms. Marvel). All artists will have work for sale and will greet fans throughout the day. |
