The Visual & Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College will hold open theatre auditions for the Spring 2020 productions of “The Miracle Worker,” directed by Hank Rion, and “BURT (Or When I Was Five I Killed Myself),” directed by Jason Hedden.
The auditions are open to all GCSC students, non-students and community actors. Children’s roles are available in “The Miracle Worker.” Auditions for both plays will be held Monday, December 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the GCSC Amelia Center Theatre. Callbacks will be on Tuesday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. Those interested in auditioning should prepare a memorized one-minute dramatic monologue.
“BURT (Or When I Was Five I Killed Myself)” begins rehearsals on January 6 with performances February 14-16 & 21-23.
“The Miracle Worker” begins rehearsals on January 27 with seven performances March 27-29 & April 3-5.
