Pensacon, the Gulf Coast’s premier pop culture gathering, is teaming up with Sam’s Fun City, the home of “Year Round Family Fun,” for two special events this October that will thrill fans and families alike.
Friday, Oct. 25, will be Pensacon Night at Sam’s Fun City and will feature “Our Fair Deal.” For $16.99, enjoy unlimited access to everything in the park except video games and slick track racing from 5 to 9 p.m. Pensacon cosplayers dressed as your favorite super-heroes, fantasy characters, princesses and more will be on hand for photos, and everyone is invited to attend in their favorite costumes, with music from DJ Mike Ensley and a children’s costume contest set as part of the fun.
Then on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m., Pensacon returns for an evening of frightful fun to include a spooky train ride, trick-or-treating, and a kid’s costume contest. The train ride will be kid-friendly until 7 p.m. before turning into the “Horror Express” from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $11.99 in advance via Sam’s Fun City’s Facebook page, with coupons available for discounts, and include unlimited rides and attractions. On Halloween night, the price will be $14.99. Additionally, Sam’s Fun City’s dinner buffet will be available for $7.99, featuring all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, salad and drinks.
