“Punk Rock Comic” Bubbs Harris Sets Recording Date for “Here Comes Trouble”, Tour Dates w/ Carlos Valencia
Pensacola, FL based comedian, Bubbs Harris has set the date to record his first full length (hour) album and DVD, and third altogether, having released two previous EPs. “Here Comes Trouble” will be recorded at Back Porch Bar in Harris’ hometown of Pensacola on Friday, March 10th. Kenny Stanger of PMVN Media will be producing and directing the cd/dvd, which will be released this Summer 2017, and is one of three albums being released by Harris’ Deadbeats of Comedy crew. The title and theme of the album will perfectly represent Harris as a person and comedian: Stress, depression, parenthood, anxiety, poverty, anger. All of these subjects and more are not only talked about, but lived by Bubbs Harris, and he knows just how to skewer the things that threaten his health and sanity, with an unbridled aggression and unapologetic honesty rarely found in standup comedy.
Not only is the date set to record “Here Comes Trouble”, but it will all happen as part of the kick-off show for his tour of the same title with Carlos Valencia, a national headlining comedian from Charlotte, NC that has toured with Doug Stanhope, and most recently, Tom Segura.
This evening of comedy is presented by Back Porch Comedy, and is absolutely free to the public.
