For theatre lovers, back by popular demand, the internationally acclaimed UK creative team of Nicholas Collett and Gavin Robertson will perform three plays on multiple nights from October 18th to November 4th. Described as “masters of their craft,” Nicholas Collett and Gavin Robertson have produced numerous collaborative works for theatre since the ‘80’s. They will be presenting the creative and thought provoking Six Sided Man; the James Bond spoof, Bond: an Unauthorised Parody and the Shakespeare inspired comedy, Your Bard! which was written while a part of the Escape to Create artist residency program in Seaside this past January. Based in England, Collett and Robertson each enjoy international solo careers as actors, directors, producers and educators. Special pricing is available for patrons that would like to see all three shows!
Beginning on October 1st, The REP will be rockin’ with their LIVE@TheREP Fall Concert Series with a performance from Kent DuChaine who will be bringing the Delta Blues back to Seaside. Each of the artists are hand picked to bring new and exciting experiences to our audience, along with some local favorites like Jeff Black. Caroline Cotter brings an international flair, while Kim Richey plays songs of your heart and Amy Black just belts out some soul. Linda McRae was just recently inducted to the British Columbia Entertainment Hall of Fame and you’ve probably heard Dan Navarro perform on some of your favorite TV shows and movies. Every concert in the LIVE@TheREP Series sets the audience in an intimate venue with the music industry’s Grammy nominated powerhouses.
The REP’s annual Membership Party on Monday, October 17th not only celebrates our fabulous Members but we’re also raffling off a week long stay at Sunburst Beach Vacation’s beach house, Hopetown on the Green in Rosemary Beach. Linda McRae is a Canadian, US based singer/songwriter who has built a following through amazing albums and a tireless tour schedule. Performing on banjo, guitar and accordion her warm and world-weary voice, unforgettable melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, make McRae a captivating and sought-after artist. Linda has performed in venues as diverse as Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre and New Folsom Prison, where she performs and facilitates writing workshops for the inmates.
