850Music is Now 850 Music & Entertainment
There has been a bit of teasing over on the official facebook page about impeding changes to 850Music. Over the next couple weeks there will be a gradual unveiling of a new logo, a new site design, and whatever else we come up with along the way.
850Music began as an organic entity with a singular purpose. It has never been something that was overly planned. That singular purpose was to be loud supporters of all the music that the area has to offer.
Although music makes up a very large portion of our life it isn’t our only passion, and that is what these changes will represent. Becoming 850 Music & Entertainment is about being a much more open-ended endeavor. It is about being that loud voice for other forms of media, art, and anything else that brings us joy.
The first couple phases of putting these changes into place have already quietly happened: We’ve changed the name across all social media and are proud owners of a new domain name. 850music.wordpress.com has been replaced with 850ME.com.
No matter where you are located YOU are 850 Music & Entertainment. You support the little guys. 850ME.com is a reflection of this idea.
What’s the big plan? Well, for now it will be to include movies. Everything from reviews and interviews as our fancies are tickled, with a focus on indie artists. Past that, we have some ideas brewing but welcome feedback about what YOU would like to see us cover. After all we are now 850ME.com.
