You would have thought by now I would have learned my lesson about not making any assumptions about a band until I hear them live…. 345 Express taught me that lesson again.
From looking at their pictures, you might think they are a full-blown country band, but then you would be making an assumption too.
345 Express plays everything from 80’s funk, 60’s soul, southern rock, and yes, a little country. The six member band (drums, bass, 2 guitars, keyboards, and lead vocals if you are keeping count) are genre hopping pros.
They seem to take notice of what the crowd is into and cater to their audience, whether that means keeping them on the dance floor or rocking in their seats.
What more could you ask for than a fun bunch of talented guys, who can play nearly anything, and share the spotlight with each other?
Hopefully I’ve learned my lesson this time, as 345 Express blew away my assumptions and made for a fun night out on the town.
If only I could stay up late enough to go out.
They are a talented group of veteran musicians.
John Russo on keyboards is a good friend.
Awesome awesome awesome. All I have to say.
