My Music Picks for 8/19 – 8/21
After much thought I am announcing a new blog feature. I am going to try and post every Wednesday or Thursday with a brief list highlighting some of the coming weekend’s events in the area.
At this time I will just be focusing on the area from Panama City to Destin – but that easily can change. I still will be keeping up the calendar as best I as can too – as I feel like that helps any of the planners out there and gives us a chance to buy tickets for the bigger events or make travel arrangements.
I’m doing this because as much as I love sites like Reverbnation – it can be overwhelming to wade through 100 shows. All the artists I will include on my list with either be bands I’ve been able to see or I took the time to dig up some music on some corner of the internet.
But I am creating this list through the lens of what I like, so if you love country or jazz – you may not find your tastes well represented by my choices.
Lastly, it might be worth a quick internet search or phone call to a venue to find out the exact time a show starts / doors open.
