Venue Review: Coaster’s of Fort Walton Beach
Great place that seems to cater more towards locals, and brings in a great mixture of music. Generally speaking, it looks like they feature music every weekend. (See some photos of past gigs here)
I enjoyed this place. They card you as you come in, so 21 and over only. Some security on hand if need be, and nice bar staff. (The security wasn’t “needed” the night I was there, the crowd was very chill, but it is always nice to see and makes me feel more comfortable in a new place.)
The stage set up was pretty nice – and as of yet, all the silly sound ordinance issues in Panama City Beach don’t seem to be an issue here. So if it really continues to be a hinderance to listening to music in PCB, places like Coaster’s are well worth the drive.
