We would like to introduce you to Mike Bowen aka Mike the Dog Trainer. We are happy to have him on board as part of the 850ME team.
What first attracted you to photography?
Since I can’t even draw a straight line with a ruler and all my stick figures have scoliosis – conventional art was out of the question. Photography was a way to show off my artistic side.
When was the first time you felt like a professional photographer?
I never really have considered myself a professional photographer. I’m always learning new techniques and growing.
Favorite style or subject to shoot?
I’m not sure about the style I shoot, but my favorite subject to shoot is anything Disney related you can checkout my Instagram @MikeTheDogTrainer
Favorite piece of equipment?
Is my Peak Design Capture device, one piece is on my belt which is designed to receive the 2nd piece that is a tripod mount attached to the camera itself. It is so I don’t have to carry a heavy camera around my neck when it’s not being used, it just rests on my hip.
What is your dream photography gig?
To be a photographer for Disney, and not a photopass Photog (much respect to them) but an actual Disney Photographer.
Any advice for others who are interested in photography?
Spend money on glass (lenses) and shoot RAW not JPEG
Best piece of advice you got starting out?
Shoot RAW and not JPEG
What services do you offer?
I am a Professional Dog Trainer, I also own Ahh Snap it’s a Photo Booth.
