ENDLESS SUMMER SONGWRITERS BRING THEIR HITS TO SANDESTIN
Free Performances Set for the Village of Baytowne Wharf, Oct. 2-
Miramar Beach, Fla. (Sept., 24, 2015) – Great live music, dynamic performances and a fun fall weekend are tuning up for the 6th Annual Endless Summer Songwriters Series at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on October 2-3. Thirteen Nashville-based BMI songwriters are scheduled to perform nightly and have collectively recorded 20 number one hits and 50 top 10 songs for some of the most recognizable artists in the country.
All performances are free and open to the public and will be staged progressively, so all songwriters can be seen at multiple venues inside The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Locations inside the Village where the songwriters will perform include: Rum Runners, The Village Door, Hammerhead’s Bar & Grille, Graffiti & The Funky Blues Shack, and the Village Events Plaza stage.
One of the biggest names among the songwriters is Even Stevens, most remembered for the number one songs he wrote for Eddie Rabbit including, “I Love a Rainy Night” and Kenny Rogers’ big hit “Love Will Turn You Around”. Stevens composed a total of 12 chart-toppers, including nine for Rabbit. Aaron Barker and Steve Bogard have each been responsible for a quartet of number one songs. Three of Barker’s hits were recorded by George Strait including “Love With End, Amen” while Bogard possesses top charting hits with Dierks Bentley, Jack Ingram, Lee Greenwood and Michelle Wright.
Barker and Bogart are new this year to the Endless Summer Songwriters Series, while Stevens is new to the lineup. The concert schedule features other musical performances from the following: Kendell Marvel, Alissa Moreno, , Brent Cobb, Will Rambeaux, Sherrie Austin, Karla Davis, Hailey Steele, Jamie Lee Thurston, Hugh Mitchell, and Carl Anderson whose songwriter resume boasts songs for chart-topping artists such as Blake Shelton, George Strait, Luke Bryan, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts and many more.

The Endless Summer Songwriters Series is hosted by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) in conjunction with Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) and VISIT FLORIDA. The annual event brings together Nashville’s best songwriters who will sing their biggest hits and explain the inspiration behind their songs.
