Band Review: Denouncer

I will freely admit I am new to the world of hardcore. I by no means will claim to be an expert on the genre.

Like most types of music, some bands of the genre I love seeing live, but they don’t hold the same thrill in recorded format. And I’ve experienced the opposite; hardcore bands that sound great when recorded but don’t recreate that feat in a live setting.

Denouncer achieves both.

As a live band, their energy and passion is always spot on. Shows feel like an emotional exorcism, where everything that you held back from expressing just floats away.

As a recorded band, they have been able to capture that energy for our listening pleasure.

With a recent move to Hootfoot Records, I am hopeful for big things in Denouncer’s future.

Based out of Panama City, they are constantly touring the South East states and beyond. So no matter where you are located, you will likely have the opportunity to see them in the near future.
