Exploring Entertainment in Florida's 850 & Beyond

Zombies for Kids – Our Zombie Mother

Update:  A brand new trailer has just hit the inter webs!

Was your childhood dotted with shows like ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark’, ‘Goosebumps’, ‘Erie Indiana’ and The Tales from the Crypt cartoon series? Then you might still get excited when a horror project pops up that puts a focus on ‘kid friendly’.

Our Zombie Mother is one such project.

Patrick Griffin of Griffin Studios LA and Committed Artists Entertainment is teaming up with Maria Olsen of MOnsterworks66 to bring the project to life, or un-life as the case maybe.

The series will star Maria Olsen along with Tyler and Naomi Griffin. Tyler is hitting the big screen for a pivotal role in James Wan’s Insidious: Chapter 2 soon to be released. Naomi at the moment, has fewer credits to her name than her brother – but is a name to watch.

Post-production is just getting underway on the pilot episode of this hilariously horrific new series, which introduces us to the world of Jon and Wendy and tells us what happens when two kids wake up to find their mother has suddenly become a zombie, and they are forced to quickly cope with the curious consequences.

Our Zombie Mother might be a series that’s specifically aimed at pleasing the youngsters, but it does have scares enough to enchant all zombie lovers.

Eerie and amusing, creepy and comical, Our Zombie Mother is sure to be a hit among the World War Z, The Walking Dead and the Shaun of the Dead zombie-loving army. Promotional trailers will be released sequentially on Youtube so be sure to subscribe to the fanatical horromedy of it all!
