How many people do you know with a house full of reptiles, who likes to dress up as a pirate, can swallow a sword, and do various other side-show type talents? Oh, and she is a kick ass tattoo artist.
Without further ado, here is more about the area’s own Sniper; who is all those things and more.
How long have you been tattooing?
Three and a half years, heading to four now. I started in this hole in the wall shop out in Hattiesburg Mississippi, and moved out here (Panama City) after I finished my apprenticeship.
What was your first completed piece?
The first tattoo I did was a terrible idea, on my own hand, a little heart. For the record, performing any body modification out of a safe professional environment is very risky. The first piece I did under my apprenticeship was on a friend, a sun and moon on her forearm.
What style or content is your specialty?
I find myself interested mainly in realism lately, but I also have enjoyed a sort of realistic new school style for years now. Anything to push my limits basically.
What is your ultimate dream piece that you would like to tattoo?
I don’t suppose I’ve ever thought about it. There are a lot of things I WANT to tattoo, but no specific ultimate piece.
Where are you currently working?
You will find me at Oxygen Zone Tattoo & Piercing most if the year, but I do various guest visits in other cities when the opportunity arises.
What is the best way to contact you for appointments?
My portfolio page on Facebook, Tattoos By Sniper, which has all my contact info there, or just come in Oxygen and see me!
